What started as a modest relief initiative by The Martyrs' Walk has expanded into an extraordinary mission, delivering essential aid to Appalachia in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
With the overwhelming generosity of our donors and supporters, we have raised over $180,000 which exceeded our original target of $150,000 and have mobilized nearly 50,000 pounds of food and supplies, culminating in the creation of The Martyrs Walk Fund!
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, The Martyrs Walk Fund is dedicated to supporting Catholic men in living out their vocation through leadership and service, grounded in the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. Together, we’re building strong Catholic communities that witness to Christ’s truth and love in a world that desperately needs it.
Looking ahead, The Martyrs' Walk Fund is committed to expanding its fundraising initiatives for Western North Carolina and beyond but requires your continued support to effect change. As the news fades, the stories and needs of those who have suffered losses remain, and they still require assistance. We will continue to work with locals to offer boots on the ground and remote support towards cleanup and rebuilding efforts.
